About me

The Man and the Mouse

"If you can dream it, you can do it. Always remember that this whole thing started with a dream and a mouse."

— Walt Disney

For me, it also started with a mouse—quite literally, that very same mouse.

During high school in Miami, under the guidance of my teacher Shelby Goode, I picked up the airbrush and unknowingly took my first step into a lifelong career. My very first job? Painting the iconic images of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.

As a teenager, I was thrilled to land my first commission. But back in Sweden, I was considered too young to work with local advertising agencies. With Disney pieces in my portfolio, I looked beyond my hometown—and that decision changed everything. It opened doors to an international career that has taken me around the world many times over.

About my illustrations

The gallery features a curated selection of my work, focusing on a few iconic pieces alongside the majority of my recent creations. While I’ve chosen not to include much of my work for advertising agencies and corporate clients, I showcase a broader range of my independent work for entertainment companies, as well as an extensive collection of portraits.

These portraits represent just a glimpse of my larger archive, which includes Rock Stars, Classical Composers, Movie and Television Icons, Politicians, Freedom Fighters, Fashion Legends, Models, Magicians, and Historical Figures—alongside personal pieces of family and friends.

Additionally, I’m unveiling a few select works from ongoing and upcoming projects, offering a preview of what’s to come.

While this gallery features many dark-themed works created for heavy metal bands and games, even more will be showcased on the upcoming Studio Dzyan Illustrations website — including additional works related to comics.

Stay tuned for a deeper dive into that world on the upcoming Studio Dzyan Illustrations website. For now, let’s focus on the artwork featured here on my personal illustration site.

ABOUT ME

Where Creativity Meets Innovation: A Journey of Discovery

Creativity has been at the core of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by music, art, and architecture—my father was an architect, my mother ran a Montessori-style music school, and our family car was a Sauterne Gold ‘66 Mustang that carried us between jazz festivals and architectural wonders.

As a kid, I was equally fascinated by building treehouses, mastering chess and puzzles, and getting lost in Disney and Hitchcock films. The first newspaper I ever bought was the day after Apollo 11’s moon landing. I was seven—and from that moment, I became obsessed with space, other worlds, and the limitless possibilities of imagination.

That same curiosity has shaped my career. I thrive at the intersection of creativity, technology, and entrepreneurship—where art meets innovation, and ideas turn into impact. Whether it’s designing experiences, exploring new frontiers in tech, or building something that didn’t exist before, I’m driven by a relentless pursuit of discovery and evolution. As a serial entrepreneur, my journey has taken me across the globe, connecting me with inspiring people, groundbreaking ideas, and game-changing innovations. I’ve built an extensive international network, not just through business, but through a shared passion for pushing boundaries and exploring what’s possible.

At the heart of it all, I believe in the magic of discovery, the power of great storytelling, and the beauty of ideas that make us stop and say wow.
