ILLUSTRATIONS SHOWCASE BY T JORGENSEN

My Illustrations

My career as a professional illustrator began at a remarkably young age. I was fortunate to secure prestigious work for Disney and several rising rock bands early on—growing alongside them as their international fame expanded. While my daily work involved advertising clients, it was the music and entertainment industries that truly fueled my passion.

Determined to go beyond local opportunities, I reached out to global clients, arranging meetings over phone and fax—an expensive and uncommon approach at the time, especially for someone my age. I even traveled to meet prestigious clients in person, breaking industry norms. I managed to become an officially licensed illustrator for prestigious brands like Star Trek and Lord of the Rings and added a numerous list of household brands to my portfolio.

The work showcased here isn’t the typical advertising commissions but rather the standout pieces created for incredible clients and iconic brands.

Choosing which artwork to share is never easy, and much of my older work no longer represents my evolution as an artist. Many iconic pieces will remain in the archives while my more recent creations take the spotlight.

For the legendary works created under my illustration company, Studio Dzyan Illustrations, I plan to showcase a more historical collection covering more than 40 years of works—including both my work and that of the Dzyan Boys. For the hardcore fans of the bands and brands a dedicated website, offering an in-depth look into the world of album covers and beyond.

This website, being part of a family of creative websites, is focused on showcasing a selection of my personal artwork only.

Some of my iconic artwork: Alfred Hitchcock, Donald Duck, Lord of the Rings and Scar from Disney's Lion King.
